The Packers exorcised a few of last year’s NFC Championship demons with a thrilling 27-17 triumph over the Seattle Seahawks in the Lambeau Field opener on September 20. The victory pushed Green Bay to 2-0 on the season while dropping Seattle to 0-2, in essence giving the Packers a three-game lead over Seattle due to the head-to-head tiebreaker.
