Green Bay fell behind the eight ball with a 99-yard kickoff return on the game’s opening play and failed to capitalize on two first-quarter interceptions from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, and a trio of long passes. The home team trailed 31-13 by the third quarter.
The Packers made a furious rally to pull within 31-26 with four minutes in the game, and looked unstoppable doing it. But Andrew Luck burned out the remaining clock, stepping up to avert a near sack by Clinton-Dix.
The Packers out-gained Indianapolis 405-355 on offense, but 160 kickoff return yards for the Colts tipped the balance.
Green Bay fell to 4-4 on the season with the loss.
